The rubber on the heel of my fairly new shoe started to peel away from the bottom of the shoe. To fix the problem, I decided to use 5 minute quick set epoxy which cures quickly, is very strong, and bonds to just about any solid I’ve tried it on. Here is quick video on how I made the fix.

After 2 months, the repair is holding up quite well.  I wear these shoes everyday.  I’ve worn them through rain and snow and on pavement, dirt, grass etc.  Here is video evidence that this repair works:
